Tenby : Sunday 27th May 2007.
In a tournament boasting many Premier club players, some with regional experience, the Accies overcame the wet conditions to play its traditional expansive rugby, and win the competition at the first attempt. Loughborough Students flyer Jack Bird, and Dylan Hughes, the starting 10 for UW Swansea at the previous seasons Welsh Varsity, were both on the scoresheet early in the tournament, and with the excellent attitude of each squad member the Accies came through some physical challenges to claim the title. |
